What this site is
Phone Speaker Cleaner Sound is a free web tool that plays tuned sounds through your phone to push water and dust out of the speaker grille. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android phones, tablets and laptops. There is no app to install, no account and nothing to pay.
Alongside the tool we publish plain-language guides on wet, dusty and muffled speakers, so you can understand the problem before you try to fix it and know when a repair shop is the better choice.
Why we built it
A wet phone is a small emergency. You want a fix right now, on the phone in your hand, without installing an app full of ads or searching through videos that promise impossible frequencies. This site is that fix: open the page, press one button, and the speaker clears itself.
Most speaker cleaner sites play a single tone. Water, dry dust and a blocked earpiece behave differently, so we built a separate sound for each one, added a Deep clean cycle for stubborn cases, and included a speaker test so you can check the result instead of guessing.
How the tool works
Every tone is generated live on your device with the Web Audio API that ships in every modern browser. Nothing is streamed and nothing is recorded, so the tool uses almost no data after the page loads. The Water mode plays a pulsing 165 Hz tone, the Dust mode sweeps from 200 to 1200 Hz, and the Ear speaker mode uses a gentler, higher sweep sized for the small earpiece. On Android the tool can also pulse the vibration motor.
The site is a fast static website with very little code. It loads quickly even on a weak mobile signal and is available in eleven languages.
How we research and write our guides
Our guides are based on the official support documentation from Apple, Samsung and Google, and on the basic physics of how small speakers move air. Each article lists the sources we checked. We do not invent test results, statistics or user stories, and when something is uncertain we say so.
Every guide shows the date it was last updated. When phone makers change their advice or menus, we revise the article. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will check it and correct it.
What we promise
- The tool is free to use, with no account and no sign-up.
- The tool asks for no microphone, location, camera or contact permissions. It only plays sound.
- Honest limits. Sound clears water and loose dust. It does not repair damaged hardware, and we say so clearly.
- Independent advice. We are not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Google or any other phone maker, and no brand pays for what we write.
Advertising
The site is free because it may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are always kept separate from the tool controls and from our advice, and advertisers have no say in what we publish. Our Privacy Policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
